Jesus Was More Than a Man
Jesus was more than just a man. He was the perfect Son of God. Throughout His ministry on Earth, Jesus demonstrated this through His love, deeds, life, and love. Jesus loves you!
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
“For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” Luke 19:10
Jesus Died For Us
Jesus came to die for us. For sinners like you and me. He lived a sinless life, died willingly on the cross, and rose again on the third day. Sin seperates us from God. (Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23) God intervened on our behalf by sending His Son, Jesus, to pay the penalty for our sin. By accepting Him into your life, you can be forgiven of your sins and begin a relationship with Jesus that will change your life.
“For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die— but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:6-8
Jesus Saved Us
Christianity is not a religion; it’s a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. An eternal home in Heaven cannot be achieved. There is no amount of good works that can earn salvation. You cannot save yourself, but you can trust and believe in the One who can.
“Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?'” John 11:25-26
You Can Be Saved Right Now!
The message of the Bible is not about a collection of great stories or a list of do’s and don’t’s. Scripture points to One person and His name is Jesus. You can find forgiveness, love, acceptance, and the promise of eternal life if you ask Jesus to save you. You can do that right now! There is no script to follow or prayer to recite. You can call on Jesus to forgive you of your sins and ask Him to be your Savior. In that moment, Jesus will forgive and save you and you new life in Him will begin!
“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. For ‘everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.'” Romans 10:9-10, 13
