Pastor

Denny has been the pastor since August 2023. He previously served as the worship leader of WCBC. He is a graduate of Veritas Baptist College with both a Bachelor of Ministry and Master of Ministry in Pastoral Studies. He and his wife, Hannah, have been married for 12 years and have three boys Micah, Malachi, and Levi.

Administrative Assistant

Sarah has been the Administrative Assistant since August 2023. She attended Word of Life Bible Institute in 1999 for a one-year Bible intensive study, Lancaster Bible College from 2000-02 with an associates degree in Secretarial Studies and Bible, and a Bachelor of Science in
Business Administration: Human Resources from Liberty University in 2019. She and her husband, Joseph, have been married for 16 years and have 2 children – AJ and Nadia.

Hospitality and Facilities Director

Barb Junkin has been at Walnut Creek Baptist for over 45 years. She has worked at WCBC for 21 years. She was taught food service and nutrition from Auburn University.   Her jobs include cleaning the church, and food preparation for any church events.
